Hallo,

mein Name ist Stefanie Morgret und ich arbeite seit 2020 an der Hochschule Darmstadt. Ich bin hier als Koordinatorin und Lehrende im Bereich Deutsch als Fremdsprache und Interkulturalität tätig. Außerdem bin ich am Sprachenzentrum auch für den EUt+ Bereich „Mehrsprachigkeit, Interkulturalität“ zuständig.

In meiner Doktorarbeit habe ich mit internationalen Studierenden eine empirische Unterrichtsstudie zum Thema Phonetik und Musik durchgeführt. Die Verbindung zwischen Musik und Sprache ist für mich faszinierend, sicherlich auch, weil ich zuerst ein Musikstudium in Weimar und Los Angeles absolviert habe.

Im Bereich Deutsch als Fremdsprache war ich an verschiedenen Universitäten in Deutschland (TU Berlin, Goethe-Universität Frankfurt) und im Ausland (German University of Technology / Muscat / Oman) tätig und die Arbeit mit internationalen Studierenden hat mir immer viel Freude bereitet. In Cartagena und Dublin war ich noch nicht und ich bin sehr gespannt auf dieses Projekt und den Austausch mit Ihnen allen!

Hello,

My name is Stefanie Morgret and I have been working at the Hochschule Darmstadt since 2020 as a coordinator and lecturer in the area of German as a foreign language and Interculturality. I am also responsible for the EUt+ area “Multilingualism, Interculturality” at the Language Centre.

In my doctoral thesis, I conducted an empirical teaching study with international students on the topic of phonetics and music. The connection between music and language is something special for me, certainly also because I first studied music in Weimar and Los Angeles.

I have worked at various universities in Germany (TU Berlin, Goethe-Universität Frankfurt) and abroad (German University of Technology / Muscat / Oman) and I have always enjoyed working with international students. I have not yet been to Cartagena and Dublin and so I am very excited about this project and the exchange with all of you!
